The Palms at Fort Myers, is a 60 Assisted Living, 20 ALZ, 80 Independent Unit Retirement Community with a home like atmosphere. We are currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Prepares and serves all meals for assigned shifts including special events
  • Assists the Food and beverage director
  • Check menus daily for any advance preparation
  • Portion control, following the menus and time schedules along with plate presentation
  • Supervision of dining personnel engaged in specialty cooking, preparation
  • Consistently provide a fine dining experience to residents of the senior living community
  • Culinary Arts degree from recognized school
  • Four years related experience in a comparable size food service operationStrong
  • Mathematical Skills and Reasoning ability
