Responsibilities:

Responsible for total care of each resident in your Resident Group for all activities of daily living (ADL’s) including but not limited to:

• Showering, toileting assistance, and continence care
• Dressing assistance which may include picking out clothes, ensuring cleanliness
• General monitoring for behavior and safety
• Transferring residents
• Orient each new resident in your Resident Group to their new living environment, to you as their assistant, other team members and residents
• Monitor each resident’s ability to perform basic ADLs, life management and social skills and communicate observations and potential difficulties to appropriate team members

• Responsibilities The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards.
• The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for serving as a role model in providing dining service and assisting with training care givers, maintaining proper dining room set up, assisting in special events, monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness and readiness standards and assisting in table top inventories maintenance.
• The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for handling all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

As a Sunrise Activities Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day activities and programs for a Sunrise Senior Living community. You will assist and lead volunteer based activities and programs that enrich the lives of the residents.

As an Activities Assistant you will maintain relationships with local schools, businesses and social organizations in maintaining an active network of volunteers and community resources. You will maintain a monthly calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family centered experiences.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Under supervision, cleans, polishes, and sanitizes gathering and public spaces including lobbies, halls, stairwells, activities rooms, dining rooms, elevators, etc. to present the community in a positive and impressive manner for residents and guests
• Cleans residents’ apartments on a weekly basis or as needed
• Maintaining assigned areas in an orderly and attractive manner
• Ensuring that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times
• Submitting work orders to the maintenance team as needed
• Taking initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority
• Interacting with residents and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested

The Night Attendant oversees the well-being of the building and its operation during the night shift. Duties include monitoring the front desk and emergency call system, ensures the building is secure, and housekeeping duties on the evening/night shift duty list. Two years of experience required accompanied by assisted living experience preferred.
