Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the health care of all residents, including the dissemination of information to families and staff
  • Providing direct supervision to resident care staff
  • Assigning weekly blood pressure and weight checks to rotating shifts
  • Communicating with physicians regarding resident's status and condition changes
  • Providing training and education to resident care staff on an ongoing basis, including classroom in-services and situational training

  • Current and valid Practical Nursing Licensure in good standing within the state
  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population
