We are currently looking for a motivated full time Community Engagement Coordinator work in retirement communities to manage the relationships necessary to the growth and success of the retirement community. The job duties of a Community Engagement Coordinator include many elements of marketing, but with more of an emphasis on building personal connections over the long term.
Community Engagement Coordinators build relationships in the community, organize promotional events, and manage businesses, community and healthcare contacts on behalf of the retirement community they work for. The Community Engagement Coordinator will organize community programs and events on a regular basis, the success of the event depends on the promotional efforts of the community relations specialist and the goal of building relationships.
Community Engagement Coordinator will focus on raising public/community awareness of the retirement community. The Community Engagement Coordinator job marketing strategy is based on cultivating long-term relationships with community based programs,seniors programs, hospital case managers and other people in a position to refer potential residents to the community.
Community Engagement Coordinator are required to have educational backgrounds in public relations, marketing,events planning. Community Engagement Coordinator depends on the ability to interact effectively with people and organizations the retirement community works with, so good interpersonal skills are a must for this job.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computers and Email
- The ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Great people skills, initiative, enthusiasm, and sense of humor are a must!
