DESCRIPTION
The Greeters are smiling, enthusiastic people who greet everyone who enters our door.
Volunteers will:
- Welcome everyone who visits the facility
- Direct the public to the appropriate areas
- Ensure the reception areas are clean and neat
- Assist the public with general questions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- All applicants must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.
- Must be able to dedicate a minimum of 2 hours of time per visit
- Must be able to interact in a positive way with the general public
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Must represent Sumter County in a professional manner
- Must never give false or inaccurate information to the public
- Acceptable vision (with or without correction)
- Acceptable hearing (with or without correction)
