We are currently seeking a Talent Specialist with a minimum of 6 years of experience. The Talent Specialist will be responsible for the talent acquisition/retention process, from hire to retire. We are looking for motivated individuals in pursuit of professional fulfillment with a passion for client satisfaction and an investment in the sustainability of our communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Manager internal hiring managers to fully understand recruiting specifications and develop recruitment strategies
- Proactively source for talent by networking, headhunting, searching and connecting with passive talent
- Develop and manage a network of recruiting and referral sources including colleges, professional associations, social networks etc. to assist in identifying candidates
- Develop and post job ads, and maintain candidate database
- Review resumes and screen applications and recommend candidates for further consideration
- Lead interview process, conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on recruiting activities and processes
- Attend various job fairs, career days, and other recruiting events
Other Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the new hire onboarding process and conduct first day orientation
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective training programs utilizing RedVector training system
- Collaborates with HR manager to identify future training needs
- Assist in documenting policies/procedures and maintain the HR process workflow and coordination of all HR driven events
- Provide policy and procedure explanation and employee benefits information to newly hired and current employees, as necessary
Job Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years recruiting and proactive sourcing experience
- Minimum of 3 years general HR experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in MS Office, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet demanding deadlines
- Able to quickly develop strong, strategic and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Able to diagnose problems, identify and make recommendations to drive appropriate solutions
- Employee relations, change management and team development experience
- Friendly with a sense of humor
