The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Manage the promotion and leasing process for a brand new 129 suite seniors apartment building set to open in summer of 2020. The Bartlett is well located in Oshawa next to the Oshawa Centre. This position will manage email and telephone inquiries; arrange tours with follow up to closing sales for seniors wanting to live in a dynamic, well appointed and affordable residence for independnent seniors. Sales activities will be managed in a CRM database.
The successful candidate will also engage the local community through information sharing and presentations to build awareness for the The Bartlett and The Seniors Urgency Room, a 24-hour, first-of-its-kind clinic located on site and open to all seniors in Oshawa/Durham Region.
Building strong relationships will be key to the long term success of the residence and the clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter. The candidate must live locally and be well acquainted with the city and its people, building a network of relationships and partnerships within the local community.
The ideal candidate will possess: Proven experience in a relationship based sales role from initial contact to closing; strong people and presentation skills; ability to network, multi-task and promote services; a passion for people with the ability to connect and build trust, a desire to be part of a cutting edge team that is changing senior living and health care through innovation and partnership. A valid provincial driver’s license is required with access to a vehicle; computer literacy with knowledge of related software programs;Flexible hours (including some evenings, weekends).
