Job description
Qualifications:
- Has current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
- Holds a current Heart Save Level of CPR
- Geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Able to cope with the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the job
- Agrees with the objectives and philosophy of the Village and displays a caring, respectful attitude toward the residents, families, and team members
- Supports and embraces a resident-centered social culture
- Demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills
- Shows skill in planning, coordinating, and supervising nursing team members
- Committed to supporting residents with a high quality of personal care
- Demonstrates organization and leadership skills
- Works well independently and as a co-operative team member
- Demonstrates skill with computers (PointClickCare, MS Word, internet, and office equipment)
- Annual AIS certification required
