If you are an accomplished leader with experience in retirement or seniors’ living who is seeking an opportunity to develop a new business from the ground up, read on! We are looking for an Executive Director who will spearhead the preparations for opening, and then lead the ongoing operations of our newest retirement community in the Wellington Village neighbourhood in Ottawa. Opening date is projected for Winter 2021.
Your focus will be on implementing our business model to ensure maximum productivity and occupancy. You are a sales champion who will empower management and staff to deliver superior hospitality, customer service and unmatched choice in resident care and ancillary services.
Our ideal candidate graduated from a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or another industry-related program. A proven track record as a leader with several years of experience in the retirement home industry, health agency or service industry is essential. Strong communication, organizational and decision-making skills are a must, along with the ability to work in an active environment with a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy. The commencement date for the successful candidate will be in April 2020.
