The cook is responsible for preparing well balanced meals in accordance with the likes and dislikes of the residents as well as their nutritional needs. Grocery shop on a weekly basis, assuring there is an adequate amount of food on the premises for resident and staff needs and the correct food items for caregivers to follow the menus. Two years' experience in meal preparation for a group of 6 or more and demonstration of the ability to perform the duties of the job. Holds a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
