Client Service Representative, Career Opportunity in Windsor, Ontario

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and direct all incoming calls via telephone and voice mail in a timely and professional manner
  • Responsible for greeting all visitors to the Home Help office, ascertaining the nature of their business, and directing them appropriately
  • Responsible to maintain and excellent working knowledge of telephone/voice mail systems, equipment and procedures
  • Coordinate and maintains accurate centralized phone, fax, pager and email lists of site employees
  • Prepare mail or courier all items for scheduled pick-up
  • Ensure all correspondence and documents are processed clearly, accurately and promptly such as patient charts.
  • Maintain schedule for bookings patient care visits and updating Procura systems.
  • Maintain log for shred boxes, fax machines and photocopy machine maintenance
  • Management of filing systems
  • Work collaboratively with all site administrative staff
  • Liaise with funders, clients and the care team in the community regarding services and information
  • Data collection and statistical reporting
  • Quality culture and process involvement
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certification in Office Administration
  • Certificate in Medical Terminology is an asset
  • 2 to 3 years experience in office environment and/or community health care organization
  • Previous experience working in health care sector and/or planning and scheduling would be considered assets
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, problem solving & critical thinking
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of operation of standard business office equipment (i.e. postage meter, fax, photocopier, etc.)
  • A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required upon the start of your employment
  • A Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may be required
