Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager you will perform general routine maintenance for the community and surrounding grounds as well as minor repairs to equipment, painting, carpet cleaning, moving furniture and garbage removal.

Technical Skills & Knowledge Required

• Completion of High School (or equivalent)
• Previous related experience and demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance tasks
• Good command of the English language, oral and written
• Knowledgeable of the Health and Safety regulations in the Province of employment

Reporting to the Director of Care, the incumbent will be responsible for serving the care needs of our Residents, within the scope of practice. This includes:

• Maintaining resident care plans and required documentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
• Manages medications as prescribed and observes/reports changes in condition; monitors the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
• Liaises with family members and acts as a resource for questions, concerns regarding practices or related health care issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently speaking with talented Registered Nurses (RNs) with management experience. 

In this role, your leadership will direct a team of 3-5 nurses in sustaining the health and wellbeing of residents within your Sunrise community. Your efforts will ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service. You will also oversee large-scale coordination of residents' health and wellness needs, medication program management, and regular assessments. 

You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training clinical team members. As a department head, you will oversee engagement, performance management, and ongoing evaluations for each team member. You will be a front-line representative of Sunrise's values in the eyes of our residents and the public at large.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to overall well being of our residents, assisting in training and monitoring of medication care administration, communication with resident support services and families and maintaining clinical quality assurance while leading and demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, "to champion the quality of life for all seniors" in accordance with federal, state and local standards and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.

As a Sunrise Activities & Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for leading the day to day activities and programs for a Sunrise Senior Living community. You will lead volunteer based activities and programs that enrich the lives of Sunrise Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. In addition, you will work with other Sunrise Department Coordinators and the Executive Director to develop and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses and social organizations to establish an active network of volunteers and community resources. You will maintain a calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family centered experiences. Financial responsibilities include budget preparation and monitoring of expenses and financial statements to meet revenue and budget targets. Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, coaching and retaining a high performing employee team. 

Reporting to the VP of Technical Services, this position is responsible for providing analysis and reporting support in the development, editing, and inputting of data for the annual capital budgets; and tracking status of major preventative maintenance agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• To develop, edit and input data for the annual 5-year capital budgets
• To ensure that the approved budgets are maintained, verified and variances reported on a monthly basis
• To provide support to Technical Services and maintain and input data as required to update capital plans, forecasts, and status of major inspections and contracts
• To identify opportunities to enhance our current system of reporting and data gathering;
• To prepare and maintain a database of all building audits, building condition /and environmental reports;
• To assist in month and year end accounting, capital accruals, and carry over requirements;

Reporting to the Director BPM (Corporate & RHH), the Manager of Corporate Planning & Reporting has oversight for annual budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes. The role also coordinates Finance support to the Strategic Planning process and works with Asset Management to integrate the Business Planning process with Financial and Strategic Planning processes and reporting. The role is also responsible for advancing management reporting, including analysis and recommendations, to support the attainment of Corporate and LOB strategic objectives and enhancement of overall performance by building leading indicators and KPIs into planning and reporting processes.

• To coordinate monthly forecast, annual budget and five year strategic plans;To provide and coordinate standard and ad-hoc reporting, as well as, consolidation of management reporting results to senior management;
• To be responsible for high quality, accurate, on time, insight driven financial & operations analysis and reporting - translate insights to recommendations and actions;
• To identify and analyze key business drivers and provide management with timely analysis and recommendations to make strategic and tactical business decisions;

Reporting to the Executive Director of the home, the Director of Care is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the overall nursing program for residents within the home. This position is based in Sherwood Court in Maple, Ontario.

• To facilitate and promote the interdisciplinary approach within the home through the Nursing, Dietary, Activation, Environmental Service and Administrative Departments
• To review all resident applications for admission to determine appropriate level of care; assist with processing of admission and discharge papers
• To implement and monitor control and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics supervise the drug administration program including the administration of medication by all registered staff
• To direct and monitor the maintenance of health care records to ensure compliance with regulations and quality care for the resident
• To participate in Care Conferences as appropriate, meet with residents/family to resolve problems/ concerns/complaints
• To assist the Executive Director by collaborating with the Medical Advisor to ensure that medical attention and records are in compliance with regulations
• To hire, orient, schedule To assist the Executive Director in ensuring staff are knowledgeable about Resident Bill of Rights and Health and Safety Standards
• To monitor and review resident care staff compliance with all facility policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices
• To comply with all relevant Provincial and Federal Acts and Regulations
• To assist the Executive Director with budget preparation and implementation for the Nursing Department
• To participate in the review process by regulatory bodies
• To investigate complaints
• To co-ordinate and monitor the Infection Control Program for the Nursing Department
• To assume administrative duties as required in the ED’s absence

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing personnel; including use of disciplinary process in conjunction with Executive Director.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the P- Card Administrator is primarily responsible for maintaining and administering the P-Card program and functioning as the point of contact for all questions and related enquiries.

This position is based in Mississauga office with one day per week based in the Cambridge office.

• Primary point of contact for approximately 1000 P-Card cardholders;
• Providing strategic guidance and support for cardholders;
• Manage card application and issuance process;
• Data management, oversight and reporting including cardholder listings, account statuses etc;
• Provides training and guidance to the P-Card cardholders regarding policies and procedures;
• Account maintenance, as required such as MCC restrictions, temporary and/or permanent changes to cardholders’ account limits, closing accounts etc.;
• Conducting regular compliance reviews, and reporting on an y potential card misuses;
• Review, analyze and audit Purchasing Card transactions;
• Determine participant enforcement regarding warnings and program cancellations . Initiate appropriate corrective action in accordance with P-Card Policies and Procedures;
• Provide ad hoc reports outlining specific spending information;
• Facilitates periodic cardholder training prior to issuing credit cards to end users;
• Maintains current cardholder user handbook;
• Receives and investigates complaints and inquiries pertaining to credit card purchase, review, documentation and prepares responses;
• Provides administrative assistance in relation to cardholder written reminders and notices;
• Assists with purchasing processes as needed to support the procurement team;
• To maintain ethics, morality and integrity as set out in Revera’s Code of Conduct;
